Week in Seattle
I spent a week in Seattle visiting Erika. We took in another SummerNights concert (Aimee Mann) on Sat. Joe left to go back to Salem on Sunday and Erika and I took a ferry ride and did a little geocaching. Hunter, Erika, and I had a little barbeque Sunday night outside of Erika's appartment window. Erika had to work during the week, so I spent the days walking along the lake geocaching and reading. It was a nice relaxing week. Monday, Erika and I rode our bikes up (and I do mean UP) to her garden to check it out. The tomatoes went crazy and are taking over along with the zucchini. Tuesday we rode our bikes to Gasworks park to get a couple of geocaches in that area. Wednesday, we rode our bikes to drop off Erika's to get fixed and walked back. On Thursday, Erika had to work the family campfire at Discovery Park, so I rode my bike to the park in the afternoon and when she was finished with work (before the campfire) We walked through the park picking blackberries. I hung out at the campfire with the families. It was pretty fun. I started on of the best fires they had seen at those things. It was all of my "hot air". Friday I left early on the train so that Joe and I could work with Lucky Critters photography at the Brownsville agility dog show. I would have like to stay the weekend, but we were already comitted to helping out. It sure is nice having my sis closeby!
