Vacation

Joe's parents came to Oregon the week of the Fourth. We went on a whale watching boat trip (which we will definately have to do with my mom and Gene next time they are here!)We also watched the Fourth of July Fireworks on the beach. It is always cool to watch them reflecting off the water. Then later that week we drove to Montana. Joe and I spent a week in Montana. It was REALLY hot while we were there, but we were able to get a bike ride in with Mom and Gene on the Rims. That was fun. We also had a fun Boggle game which Mom was master of. She had an awesome score that I believe was in the 50's (total rounds). I also enjoyed lunch with Robert and my friends, Raina and Tonya while I was there. It is always good to see them. I miss the people back in Montana, but enjoy the Northwest! I wish I had more time to spend in Billings, but we had to head to the cabin near Augusta and spend the weekend with my dad and grandparents. It was great to see them again! We took a hike up to "the meadows" and saw a leg from a dead deer carcass (thanks to the dogs rolling in it), meaning bear might have been in the area and turned back to the cabin. Dogs had a great time exploring the outdoors and smelling everything.

All and all we had fun in Montana...Joe was even able to do a drop off the Rims at Zimmerman park, but I'm sure he'll post all about that in his own Blog.......
