Weekend in Seattle

Joe and I spent the weekend visiting Erika in Seattle. We were there for Seattle Summer Nights Concerts. We saw Lucinda Williams on Friday and Lyle Lovitt on Sat. They both were good, but Lyle's was excellent. He was accompanied by a big band that added to his music. He put on a good show. While we were in Seattle we checked out Erika's "den" (her classroom) at Discovery Park. It seems like an awesome, fun summer job. I am jealous! While we were at the park we decided to hike down to the beach and see the lighthouse. The tide was really low, so we checked out the tide pools and got squirted by the clams! Discovery Park is insanely huge for being in the city! You could spend days there hiking and checking everything out! We all had a fun filled weekend. It sure is nice to have my sis so close to go visit!
